Rodrigo Rojas

Rodrigo Rojas began teaching Spanish and Religion at SFX in 2019. Sr. Rojas was born in Bogota, Colombia, and attended Catholic Seminary for five years in pursuit of becoming a Catholic priest. He was invited by the Diocese of Savannah to discern his vocation to the priesthood in South Georgia and after three years, identified his vocation as married life. Sr. Rojas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish degree from the College of Coastal Georgia and is currently studying for his Master of Education in Foreign Language Education and Teaching English as a Second Language degree at Valdosta State University.

Sr. Rojas and his wife Hailey have two children, Aida ‘25, and Simon ’29, and two pets, Nat Kitty Cole and a Yorkipoo, Jophes. He enjoys riding bikes and camping with his family.
