The core curriculum for all grade levels includes Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The resource curriculum includes Technology, Music, Art, Spanish, and Physical Education. Critical thinking, problem solving, cooperative work, and hands-on learning are incorporated daily into the learning experience at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.

Our students consistently achieve high academic success as evidenced by our MAP Growth test scores. Learning comes alive through hands-on projects, which integrate all areas of the curriculum and through a variety of exciting field trips.

All students participate in daily Religion classes, which provide instruction in scripture, Christian morality, and worship and prayer. Our school family practices our faith by assisting others in our local and global communities.

In fulfilling the Bishop’s vision for the catechesis of children, the Department of Catholic Education - the Office of Catechesis for Children, and the Office of Youth Ministry, commits expertise, time, and energy to provide systemic standards for leadership, support, and service to those who live the mission to prepare hearts, educate minds, reveal Christ and cultivate the Roman Catholic tradition.

All curriculum is developed by the Diocese of Savannah and is based upon both national and state standards.
