Open Positions:

Director of Advancement - This is a key leadership position responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the school’s advancement program. This includes an annual campaign, endowments, planned giving, capital campaigns, donor relations, database management, along with the marketing, and communications necessary to implement the advancement program. The Director of Advancement is a mission-driven individual who promotes the values of Catholic education and fosters a culture of annual giving and philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement plan to increase philanthropic support.
· Organize and implement an annual giving program
· Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gifts, planned gifts, and endowment contributions.
· Lead efforts to build and grow the school’s endowment and planned giving programs.
· Plan and direct all aspects of capital campaigns, including feasibility studies and campaign structure.
· Foster strong relationships with alumni, parents, parishioners, and community supporters.
· Create donor recognition programs and stewardship opportunities to ensure long-term engagement.
· Oversee donor events, thank-you programs, and annual reports.
· Maintain accurate donor and gift records in the school’s advancement database.
· Utilize data to analyze giving trends, measure progress, and create reports for school leadership.
· Ensure donor confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
· Collaborate on strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the school’s visibility and reputation.
· Oversee development-related communications, including newsletters, appeals, press releases, and digital content.
· Support enrollment growth through integrated communication strategies and storytelling.
· Serve as a key member of the school’s leadership team, contributing to strategic planning.
· Liaise with the School Board, Advancement Committee, and other stakeholders as needed.
· Supervise and mentor advancement staff or volunteers (if applicable).
Qualifications
· Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to Catholic education and values (preferred) but a Christian faith is required
· Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in advancement, fundraising, or related work with a preference for at least 5 years of experience.
· Proven success in securing major gifts, managing campaigns, and building donor pipelines.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and project management abilities.
· Proficiency in fundraising software with a preference for experience with Little Green Light (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect) and MS Office Suite.
· Experience with digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
