Brenda Hunt

Brenda Hunt teaches 8th-grade honors language arts. Mrs. Hunt started at SFX in 2007 after a career with Glynn County Schools.  Mrs. Hunt earned a Bachelor of Science in English with a minor in history degree from Jacksonville State University. 

Mrs. Hunt serves as an advisor for the SFX National Junior Honor Society and Quiz Bowl.  

Mrs. Hunt finds great pleasure in reading the prose and the creative poetry of her students. As with most teachers, Mrs. Hunt feels a sense of accomplishment when former graduates return to share their lives and successes. 

Mrs. Hunt enjoys reading, walking, and visiting with family, friends, and neighbors and is active in her church and community.
