Parent Week of Giving 2026

This year, St. Francis Xavier Catholic School launched the 1900 Fund, our first-ever annual fund. Named for the year our school was founded, the 1900 Fund provides flexible support for the people, programs, and opportunities that help our students thrive.

Our Goal: 100% Parent Participation

Our inaugural goal is to raise $100,000 for the 1900 Fund. These gifts will help provide important resources for our students, including computer replacements, STREAM Lab equipment, classroom resources, and other areas of greatest need.

But reaching $100,000 isn't about how much any one family gives.

It's about every family participating.

A gift of any amount demonstrates your belief in our school and helps establish a strong tradition of giving for years to come. When our entire parent community participates, we show what we can accomplish when we come together for our children and the future of our school.

Why is the 1900 Fund so important?

The 1900 Fund gives our school the flexibility to respond to needs and opportunities throughout the year. Rather than supporting just one program or project, the Fund can help address the areas where support is needed most.

This year, your generosity will help us invest in things like:

  • Computer replacements to keep our students equipped with current technology
  • STREAM Lab equipment to enhance hands-on learning
  • Classroom resources that support teachers and students
  • Other areas of greatest need across our school

Why is parent participation so important?

How much should I give?

Whatever amount is meaningful for your family. Parent Week of Giving is about participation, not the size of the gift. A $25 gift and a $2,500 gift both count as participation and both help move us toward our goal.

We simply hope that every family will find a way to be part of the 1900 Fund's inaugural year.

Where does my gift go?

Gifts to the 1900 Fund provide flexible support for the school's areas of greatest need. This year, that includes priorities such as computer replacements, STREAM Lab equipment, classroom resources, and other technology and program needs.

Why launch an annual fund now?

The 1900 Fund gives our school a consistent, annual tradition of support that can grow with our school. It allows parents, grandparents, alumni, parishioners, and friends of SFXCS to come together each year to help provide the resources our students need.

Can grandparents participate?

Absolutely! We welcome grandparents and other family members who want to participate in the 1900 Fund. Parent Week of Giving is centered on our families, but the entire SFXCS community has a role in helping our school thrive.
