St. Francis Xavier Catholic School is part of the Diocese of Savannah Catholic Schools and serves as the parish school of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brunswick, Georgia.

The Diocese of Savannah Office of Catholic Schools establishes policies and academic standards for diocesan schools. This provides SFXCS with a unified Catholic mission, a strong academic framework, consistent curriculum standards, and opportunities for collaboration in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities.

Our pastor and parish community provide guidance based on the needs of parish families, while the school administration oversees educational programs and carries out the school’s Catholic mission.

Through the School Advisory Board, Parish Council Finance Committee, Home and School Association, and Athletic Association, parents and community members share their expertise in finance and accounting, information technology, marketing and public relations, and the general welfare of the school. Their service is an important part of St. Francis Xavier Catholic School’s continued success.

The School Advisory  Board is composed of administrators, parents, alumni, former parents and friends of the school, each of whom has special talents that serve the school community.
