Christopher Cardin wins Catholic Schools Spelling Bee
St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School on Wilmington Island hosted the 2010 Catholic Schools Spelling Bee on Jan. 29 inside the school's new Parish Center.
St. Peter the Apostle, Blessed Sacrament, Notre Dame Academy, St. Francis Xavier, St. James and St. Michael's each selected one student from the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade to participate in the contest. The winner was seventh-grader Christopher Carden of St. Francis Xavier in Brunswick.
